Hats Off - Friend

This card was created for that special and very best Friend!  You know the one....that friend who would do anything for you.  The friend who would even help you move.

For this card I simply matted 'In Good Taste" DSP on Night of Navy to a White card base.  Then die cut the hat in Smokey Slate and embossed it with the Tasteful Textile Embossing Folder.  For the sentiment I used the Rectangle Dies and stamped in Night of Navy.  On a scrap I embossed "Friend" taken from the May Paper Pumpkin in White.

Cardstock cuts for this card:
Basic White (card base) 5 1/2" x 11" scored at 4 1/4"
Night of Navy 5 1/4" x 4"
In Good Taste DSP 5 1/8" x 3 7/8"
Scrap of Smokey Slate 4" x 3"

Delicate Dahlias

Looking for a new easy way to use that New Sale-a-Bration item.  The Delicate Dahlias is a beautiful stamp set.  In my experience the simple cards are best with this set.  So here is a great example.

The details in this set are amazing.  Just a simple card base stamped with these beautiful flowers and leaves.  I used Rich Razzleberry and Old Olive.  Using a Black Berrybliss Blend I colored Fresh Freesia Open Weave Ribbon.  Then a simple sentiment on your favorite label punch and you have a stunning card.

So if you need any thing to go with your Sale-a-bration items, remember to use this months Host Code, if you spent $50 or more I will send you a gift.

Feels Like Home

You can get this stamp set for free with a $50.00 purchase.  You can only earn this set in the Sale-a-bration that ends in four days on September 30th.

This card also has the Bedazzling Specialty Paper from the Sale-a-bration.  I used the Couture dies to cut out these beautiful layers.

On this card I used another Sale-a-bration DSP to create these layers.

Turtle Friends

Hello everyone.  Today I had a play with the Turtle Friends bundle.  I just loved the cute little turtles.  When I seen this stamp set I just knew I was getting it.  The most fun is that it uses a punch that will punch the large turtle.  Since I had a baby shower coming up I thought what a better time to use this set.

I had fun using the blending brushes to create this background.  I can not wait for the next baby shower to come.  I will enjoy creating with this set again.

To get this bundle for your fun, click on my catalog to go to my store.   Remember that it is Sale-A-Bration time, so if you spend $50 you will get a free item selection.  Catch you next time.

In Symmetry

Hello and welcome to a my blog once again.  Today's card is from the In Symmetry Bundle.  Such a pretty bundle for creating friendship cards.  The DSP makes using this bundle so easy.

For this card I began by attaching with liquid glue a piece of DSP to the Night of Navy card base.  I matted another piece of DSP to Just Jade and angled it using dimensionals to attach it to the card.  On a piece of scrap basic white I stamped the flower in Night of Navy twice to form a circle, and fussy cut it out.  I then raised it up with dimensionals on the Just Jade piece.  I heat embossed the sentiment in white on a Night of Navy strip and added it with dimensionals.
And voila you now have a simple but beautiful card to send to a friend.  I hope you like it. If you would like to recreate this card the card recipe is listed below.

Supplies needed.
Night of Navy cardstock:  5 1/2" x 8 1/2" scored and folded at 4 1/4" {this is the card base}
Just Jade cardstock:  4 1/8" x 2 7/8"
Scrap of Basic White card stock about 3" x 3"
Sweet Symmetry DSP:  4" x 51/4" and 2 3/4" x 4"
And a strip of Night of Navy 2" x 1/2"
White heat emboss powder
Liquid Glue and Dimensionals
